The Leap Frog Code

The secret to leap frog is this --  the tendency for most people (me included) is to want to alternate colors on each move.  The solution is not alternating colors on each move.  There is a mathematical progression of
1 - 2 - 3 - 3 - 3 - 2 - 1

So, if you wanted to start with the brown frog

Move 1 brown frog

Move 2 green frogs

Move 3 brown frogs

Move 3 green frogs

Move 3 brown frogs

Move 2 green frogs

Move 1 brown frog

Note you do not even need to pay attention to the direction, or whether it is a jump or step, since in each case, there's only one available choice.

Just pay attention to the color of the frogs and count as you move the frogs:
1 Brown - 2 Green - 3 Brown - 3 Green - 3 Brown - 2 Green - 1 Brown

This works in reverse too.
