Long before The Lord of the Rings Trilogy made headlines in the movie world, it was a treasured fantasy classic. I seldom went for more than a year without re-reading it. There are a few sentences in Tolkien's Forward that are fitting for the launch of this blog. And I paraphrase here: "The most critical reader of all, myself, now finds many defects, minor and major, but being fortunately under no obligation either to review this blog, or code it again, I will pass over these in silence." |
